    There will be an organizational meeting on Wednesday, September 8th @ 5:30pm in the Kiernan Center front gym. Meeting is for new and veteran players. Anyone interested in participating should be at the meeting.   • Women's Volleyball Host Tournament

    Niagara Women’s Club Volleyball team hosted a 10 team league tournament at the Kiernan Recreation Center on Sunday, November 11.  Niagara was entered into Pool A which consisted of teams from Canisius, Brockport, RIT and St. Bonaventure.The Purple Eagles started the day off with a split against Canisius (27-26, 18-25). Then faced the Golden Eagles of Brockport and split games again (21-25, 25-18). RIT was the next opponent, which provided the toughest competition of the day. NU lost both games (14-25, 22-25). The day ended with NU facing off against St. Bonaventure. NU finished strong with defeating the opponents in both games (25-18, 26-24). Read on →

  • Women's Volleyball Wins Brockport Tournament

    The Niagara University Women’s Club Volleyball Team travel to Brockport and put in a great performance to win the Brockport sponsored tournament.  Niagara won the first match of the day against the Brockport A team by taking 2 of 3 games it was a very competitive match (25-23, 25-27, 17-15). IN the second match of the day Niagara took on Fredonia and took the match by winning two straight games (25-19, 25-23). In the third match of the day, Niagara would only need to win one of two games to advance to the finals. The Purple Eagles completed the task by splitting games against the Brockport B team (25-21, 20-25).The championship game pitted Niagara against the Brockport A team.  The finals would only be one game to 30 points with the winner securing the tournament championship. It a very tight and emotional game the Purple Eagles outlasted the Golden Eagles of Brockport by a score of 30-26.  The win secured the tournament championship for NU along with a $200 prize.
